Next Generation Leaders

In my first role as a internal coach working with first line managers I coached managers to  develop the key skills needed at their level to drive performance. Skills included building relationships, productivity, people development, communication and time management.

Many times in organisations it is not until the senior level of management that they get serious development. Making changes now will develop them earlier as influencers, leaders and performers.  Having difficult conversations, taking risks, influencing, communication, operational problem solving, performance issues, self confidence are all areas that first line and middle managers have asked me to help with.

More work with young leaders earlier in their career will develop their capability both as people and leaders to lead others in a nurturing motivational way that works with constant change and achieves results. Young leaders need mentors, coaches and timely training/leadership development to prepare them for the future.
